Inbox Agent

An inbox agent is an AI agent that monitors an email inbox as its primary source of input. It reads incoming messages, classifies them, extracts relevant information, and takes action based on predefined rules.

Inbox agents are particularly effective in industries where email remains the dominant coordination tool: which includes most of energy and construction. They do not require new apps, training, or behavior change from partners.
