Phase Advance
Phase advance is the process of moving a solar project from one stage to the next: for example, from permitting to construction, or from construction to commissioning. It typically requires that specific prerequisites be completed and documented.
PMs often spend hours each week verifying that prerequisites are in place before advancing a phase. This involves checking multiple data sources and following up with subcontractors for missing documents.
The Ops Supervisor can automate phase readiness checks by querying Supabase for prerequisite completion and surfacing only the projects that are truly ready to advance.
